Andy Äsk Inducted into IAQA Hall of Fame

andy award

It is our pleasure to report that Andy Äsk, an engineering consultant for Santa Fe, was inducted into the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) Hall of Fame at the recent 2018 IAQA Winter Conference in Chicago. This is a tremendous honor in the IAQA community and we are so proud of him!

“The Indoor Air Quality Association established a Hall of Fame in order to bring recognition to individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the science, and public recognition, of the subject of indoor air quality. Candidates for the Hall of Fame should be individuals who, in the opinion of the President and Board of Directors, have a history of significant contribution to the field of indoor air quality.”

Making the honor even more special, some of Andy’s long-time IAQ building science colleagues were also inducted: Joe Lstiburek, Lew Harriman, and Jeff May.

Please congratulate Andy on this wonderful accomplishment!

Andy has definitely made his mark on the HVAC, IAQ and Building Science industries over the past 30 years. He has devoted the last 20 years to solving humidity problems through the application of building science, diagnosing and solving moisture issues in Southwest Florida homes and commercial buildings.  So, what do you do when you are truly passionate about something? Write a book of course! Want to deep dive into air conditioning and moisture control? Then H2NØ, Mechanical Systems and Moisture Control is the book for you!
